Jet2 is a Low Cost airline.
As with most Low Cost airlines, you can expect to pay extra for some aspects
of your flight which you would otherwise recieve as part of the price on traditional full service airlines.
Jet2 has an expansive route network, particularly from its main base at Leeds/Bradford
to destinations across Europe.
New destinations include Paphos in Cyprus and Heraklion in Crete. These are destinetions
not currently served by any other UK based Low Cost carrier. (however GB Airways has just been purchased by EasyJet subject
to approval, GB operates to these destinations).
Jet2's aircraft all have the 3 - 3 standard seat layout with a typical seat pitch
of 30", which is pretty standard for this type of airline.
With the exception of the BAe146, which is currently dedicated to the Newcastle -
London Gatwick route, all Jet2 aircraft have underslung wings, which means that viewing towards the centre of the aircraft
is restricted.
To avoid this, you could take advantage of the pre-bookable seating.
Some flights offer personal in flight entertainment consoles at a cost of £5. To
avoid disapointment you can pre book these on line.
