A full service airline with years of experience, and a vast route
network and a large varying fleet of aircraft.
They have an excellent website, which will tell you pretty much everything you need
to know. (Some airlines seem to keep things secret until after you have booked).
BA has a carbon offsetting program, whereby you simply type in your route and it
calculates the amount you can pay to make up for the emissions your flight will make.
The seat pitch on BA is a typical 31".
There are plenty of different seat layouts with BA, but basically, if your flying
short haul in economy it will be a 3-3 set up. Long haul will be 2-3-2 or 3-3-3 or 3-4-3.
TIP - If you know you are flying on a 747 as a couple and want just 2 seats alone,
then go for the rear 2 rows by the window as these have 2 seats alone.
The IFE on the long haul flights is currently the non interactive type. But still
via personal screens..
